The Warner Bros Bundle has Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, as well as both of the intensely frightening paranormal shooters F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin and F.E.A.R. 3 and the groundbreaking action-RPG, Lord of the Rings: War in the North! Pay more than the average and you’ll also unlock Scribblenauts Unlimited and the sequel to Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition.
Average is still under £3.
The Batman games have recently moved from Games for Windows to full Steam unlocked games, so no more fussing about with 2 logins to unlock them. They both come with all the extra levels and characters, too.
Just completed 'Two Tours of Duty' today at my son's 'new' house! Coving is now complete and ready to go and the bathroom walls can have new plasterboards fitted tomorrow ... shower and heating pipes have been re-routed and positioned securely :¬)
How we manage this is a wonder ... we have granddaughter during the day and then I can have my son's assistance in the evening ... such is life ;¬)
However, I've managed to complete Metro:Last Light and all of its DLC.
I was quite enthralled with the main story which was enhanced by playing a more difficult mode and adding DLC. However some of the DLC is just not worth the bother ...
Back to 'Grand Designs' and my granddaughter tomorrow ....
It's an A8 but the new Richland processors (A8 5550), which are faster, and dual graphics. Back to games; Not tried it out yet, but should happily run most games on medium settings.
With Battlefield 4 looking pretty good on PS3 already, I'm just looking forward to seeing the next gen version of that and I can take or leave COD, really .
...and girls, don't forget. Lady soldiers finally make the cut in multiplayer.
Cool, looking forward to the 'put the kettle on love' mission! Seriously though that's a good thing, there were loads of female players on GOW Judgment, well players who appeared to be females anyway... Are there going to be female dogs as well? I'm all for canine sexual equality but I'll be honest if I release my rabid hound of death only to find it sniffing around another dogs backside then I'm not going to be a happy bunny.
First impressions of the game posted online this morning don't seem all that favourable, many complaining that it runs noticeably slower than Black Ops 2. If I was cynical I might may think this was to entice us to the next gen versions... On the plus side most seem to be saying one of the new multiplayer modes is great fun, apparently if you don't kill someone every 30 seconds you explode! Will hopefully get chance to try it later.
Only one more sleep until the new COD. Not only can you shoot assault rifles in space in this one but there's a dog in it as well.
Could be worse, they were due to strike today.
Anyway, morning all. Another early Monday start this morning. At least it's bright out so I should hopefully be able to keep dry at lunch time.
Spent most of the day 'refurbishing' my son's new family home! Have already demolished the existing bathroom walls and have now nearly completed 'coving' in the new lounge! Should be back up there in a few minutes.
Isn't it amazing, when you 'strip' a house back to its roots, what dodgy stuff has gone on and what the previous owners either created or 'put up with'! The previous owners must have considered themselves ... 'not bad' ... but the evidence suggests, major problems from the start!
Weather, pb, has been as promised here ... clear skies overnight, frost and cold this morning ... didn't warm up until mid-day.
