Anyone watch that programme on CH4 on Sunday evening about the urban freeclimbers? Absolute nutjobs IMO.

Didn't see it, but a quick Google search revealed pretty much what I expected...

So... these blokes just never grew up then? The way I remember it, when I was a kid I used to climb up everything. Stopped doing that when I realised that trees weren't actually much fun, and there really wasn't anything interesting on a garage roof.

"Urban Freeclimbers"?

Irresponsible, immature whackos more like.

Get a hobby. Or a life.

Morning guys. I'm still around periodically DL, got a lot of stuff going on at the moment.

There seems to be some kind of issue with our exchange (if such a thing can happen?) it seems to be effecting most ADSL connections on it (both my Freeola connections and my friends and colleagues on other ISP's have been experiencing the same thing). Sometimes everything works fine (it's around 10Mbs this morning) at other times it can drop to as low as 0.6Mbs (sometimes just for short periods of time). This has been happening on and off for a bit now, no idea what it could be but it's very annoying. My friend on FTTC from this exchange is having no issues whatsoever, if things don't improve may have to consider that. Twice now I have given up trying to view streaming video and occasionally webpages seem to take forever/fail to load or just seem to load partially (pictures/video missing etc.).

Yesterday a major event went down in our neck of the woods, quite surprised it didn't make the national news TBH.

Anyone watch that programme on CH4 on Sunday evening about the urban freeclimbers? Absolute nutjobs IMO.

Ever the cruel hand pb :¬D

I do agree though...unless she is 'really poorly'

Forum hasn't exactly been a 'hive of activity' recently ... still it's lasted this long so far ... ;¬)

@Hmmm ... I know this is 'out of forum protocol' but hope all goes well with Zen. I decided to stay with BT, but only after dumping the 'newly charged for services' ... the house is a lot quieter now;¬)

Afternoon.
Well, eldest's turn to be off school ill. This means I'm working from home today to look after her.

It's still not going to get her out of doing her homework, though...

Evening all ...

Just amazed at the awesome panoply of stars this evening ... there has got to be others out there.

@pb ... hope all is well now, rather disturbing I guess.

Not much, though she got a nice dress and a few other things she needed, so not a wasted journey.

We finished late as it was, but got stuck behind a big accident that had just happened ( before the police or ambulances got there) so we were really late home. The kids ate at McDonalds as it was so late and we didn't have dinner until 11pm in the end. Went to bed at 2am too.

Oh dear ... Mrs DL and Millie's mum went to the Next sale on Boxing Day at 'stupid o'clock' and got a pair of leggings for her!!!!

So what was left for Senora PB?

Afternoon.

Busy afternoon, though swimming was cancelled because of a power cut, but only after we'd already made the journey to get there.

So my wife decided to take the opportunity to look in Next to see if there were any sale items left for my daughter, as we haven't had time to go until now.

Once again thanks srs_wubwub :¬)

I am aware that avatars are checked prior to inclusion but my comment regarded the 'change' requirements within My Freeola. All was carried out correctly but as I said, error messages greeted my completion ...

N.B. the process of uploading or changing an avatar has in the past taken far longer than happened yesterday evening.

Hi DL,

I noticed that you had submitted the avatar change last night before we left, please note that changes such as these are checked by staff members to ensure no nudity or indecent images are used.

Naturally as these forums can be viewed by anybody with an internet connection, the last thing we want is for our forum to be littered with vulgar images. That's not to say that you would do such a thing of course ;)
