That's the one, with the swan boats. Plenty of protests about that and the famous cafe opposite, which does great chips, being pulled down in September.

Cooler and fresher today, nice. At least it seems to be still dry for both my kids who are on different trips with their respective schools, one at the beloved fun park on the sea front (which the council are taking away to 'modernise' the sea front with high priced swimming pools and larger attractions, probably in big square buildings) and the other on a photography trip as part of their 'activities week' at school, learning about taking photos.
