wet one here today so that means another snail party in the grass. They are certainly making good progress on the leaves on the sunflowers.
I appear to be lacking any form of motivation today. Must be a work day.
Dull day here, drizzle which is supposed to last for most of the day. Not got too much work to get done before the weekend so hopefully nothing will throw a spanner in the works and I'll be able to have a relaxing day.
Turned out to be a lovely day here after all the rain this morning which is good as Derby are hosting the women's World Cup semi-final between Australia and India today.
Youngest daughter's leavers assembly at school this afternoon. Should be fun/teary
Been hammering it down here for most of the night and still going for it at the minute.
I hope it stops as the women's cricket World Cup semi-final between Australia and India is in Derby today to see who will play England in the final.

Evening,
My 1 hour meeting in the office overran by 2 hours - not entirely sure how that happened but I guess it made the afternoon go by quicker.
I know that feeling!
Sorry about all the rain ... not had a drop here, so far :¬)

Cloudy but ok now, hopefully staying that way so I can walk the dogs after dinner.
Just had a 10-minute monsoon and now everything has stopped and it's brightening up.
I feel sorry for those people in Cornwall who had most of their town washed away yesterday. Did anyone see BBC Breakfast this morning? A reporter found a kitchen sink in the street! (Apparently it was in someone's shed which had been washed away).
