Afternoon all ...
Rather wet and windy here now! Lovely morning, sunny and quite warm ... but like most things these days, a sudden deterioration and we're back to 'grey and winter conditions'! Ist day of Spring soon, now that we're in March!

I've done far too many 'Parent's Evenings' to even begin to make a comment ... 18 years as a parent and 26 years as a Deputy Head!
My 'Parent's Evenings' took in to account that parents actually worked ... so on the allocated day in the school calendar ... my 'parents' could also book an appointment from 7-8.30am with me! This saved them time and me time in the 'evening' as I worked 20 miles from home. It worked well for me and my parents but other parents 'moaned' that the other teachers didn't offer a 'flexible' evening and also they created a 'backlog'.
In other words ... your appt at 6.30pm for 10 mins became 7.45pm for 2 mins because Miss M had spent far too long with Mr & Mrs Whatever about 'darling little Johnny' ...

Not much to report, though. Playing more Far Cry 4 in the evening and usual work stuff during the day. Did Parents Evening last night, which went well and quite pleased with how my eldest is now doing in her last year at Primary.

Got downstairs to sit down for a bit at about half 10 and realised we hadn't got bread for tomorrow to make sandwiches for school lunch. So it was out to Tesco to play dodge the big cages. Finally back home now and can sit for a bit.
