For me it's small things, getting kids stuff ready for World Book Day tomorrow, which has meant me spray painting a bow and quiver and turning the house upside down to find a book. The wife is still sewing a dress which she started from scratch yesterday. Not sure she'll finish before 2am.
However ... exchanged contracts yesterday on my dad's house and completion will be next week. House is now totally empty and ready for new owner ... 2 and a half large skips and £510 later!!!!
Next week however has now yet another funeral!
Mrs DL's dad's sister! The logistics are a nightmare ... funeral in Bedford 80 miles away from me at 10 am.
Mother-in-law lives in Sheffield, 60 miles the other way and with a 50 mile an hour restriction for most of that journey!
Mother-in-law is 86 and it takes her until midday to 'get sorted' on the best of days! It's a 'no brainer'
All in the same week when I have to exchange a house, take meter readings and deliver keys!
Int life brill ;¬)
Agents of Shield started again yesterday in the US but C4 still haven't said when it's going to be shown over here and I'm still waiting for a UK channel to pick up Agent Carter, too.
Well, got to Starbucks and they took ages so had to postpone my meeting while sat here trying to eat a scolding hot tuna panini.
But was it 'free' ;¬) Never mind the meeting!
Have an email for a free food item for Starbucks when I get a drink. Just checked my app on the phone and I've got some credit on there, even though I haven't been to Starbucks for about a year. Looks like free lunch today.
In other news, I had 3 boxes of geek stuff turn up at the same time yesterday, so we ended up doing 3 unboxing videos one after another. All uploaded to Youtube now.
woke up to a couple of inches of snow this morning. I didn't expect that... since I didn't check the weather. Farmer had 6 inches of snow to clear before we could get into the office.
Raining when I left the house at 7am and my damned coat wouldn't zip up. By the time I'd tried I was already running to catch the bus but luckily the bus driver saw me and she waited for me to run up the road (completely out of breath, I might add).
Not much to report this weekend. Seems to have flown by again.
