Sounds good DL. Yeah, lots of RAM. Just got mine up to 12GB thanks to an Amazon lightning deal the other day.

Only got an AMD A8 CPU but it seems to cope, just the graphics card to upgrade now (currently 7750 but thinking I might be able to afford either a 750Ti or an R9 270X

Can't say I have DL.

What are you ordering for your new PC? Anything tasty?

Well the new one will have an i7-4790k and a 4GB GEFORCE GTX 970 for starters but I may change my mind within the next few days ;¬)

I'll only get shouted down by the "elite crowd" of PC owners/ builders for saying this, but going by the multitude of forum posts on games like Far Cry 4, AC Unity, Dying Light etc. My little AMD Piledriver FX4300 processor and HD7850 2Gb graphics card are completely wiping the floor with i7's and NVidia cards at the moment.
And the FX4300 is under £60 at the moment on Overclockers...

Haha ... how handy is that! It's bright sunshine here now! Nice to see a response from within the vast caverns of Freeola ;¬)

By the way chas, have you played 'Heavy Fire: Afghanistan'? Got a few games left for my existing pc before the new one is ordered.

Afternoon.

Well yesterday was hectic. Didn't get home until around 7.30pm and still had to get dinner sorted for the girls. Then had to prepare stuff for the children's group at church this morning and the printer wouldn't connect to the computer (wireless) so ended up doing it all by hand.

Today is a little more relaxed but still have to take the dog out and help kids with homework.

Rather like me in someways pb ... what would Mrs pb do without you ;¬)
