Evening all ...

Son started back at work Monday following his 'accident' just before Christmas so granddaughter days have begun again!

She's been a little treasure today, just hope she'll be the same tomorrow ;¬)

New PC is in 2nd day of building and I'm now in that 'transformation' stage ... what do I need to transfer and what do I need to save and what do I need to re-download!!!! Gets a bit traumatic at times but exciting ;¬)

Started another fence today aswell ... now that's not a bad day's work!

Morning.

I love the tinkering part and deciding what to put on the drive once you get it all set up. I can spend a good few weeks tweeting all the software and settings to find the sweet spot on a new PC.

Usually the first download is Chrome, then whatever Anti virus I'm using, then steam, Photoshop, origin and Uplay

Morning all.

The button on the coffee machine at work has broken. I managed to get a quarter of a cup out first. I may have to resort to a cup of....instant {shudders}.

That's not a great start to the morning.

Morning.

Back to the office after a week working from home. My back seems good enough to carry a heavy rucksack now, though I'm still being careful as it's 'twingy'.

It does mean getting up just after 6, though, which I found incredibly difficult this morning. I was aided by a shove from my wife, probably because she knows how hard I find it getting out of bed.

Nice to hear that you had a good Sunday pb ... not that we didn't here! Babysitting last night until just before midnight ... and granddaughter was a dream ... a couple of stories and then ... "I go sleep now Gampa". Just what can you say :¬)

@pb ... are we the only ones left here?

We're the only full-timers is how I'd put it!

I expected you to say you were the one to fall asleep, DL!

Just watching the making of Queen's Night at the Opera. One of my favourite albums.

Lambing Sunday done and dusted. Great weather for it, too. Kids loved the horse shows, seeing baby animals and the smallest owl ive ever seen. Even the dog loved the chance to run around in big fields.

Eldest back safely from her trip. Both in bed now so I guess I get a bit more time on Far Cry 4.

What else is coming out soon? Bloodborne looks impressive but I'm put off by the Dark Souls level of difficulty.

The eclipse was excellent here. Clear blue sky, bright sun and the light dimmed eerily. My son and I viewed it perfectly by using his welding helemt :¬)

On another point, garage refurbishment has gone through phase 1 ... just got to test it now! ;¬)
