About to go do the school run again, then coffee.
it was the school show last night. My shy, quiet daughter did great as a narrator and had a lot to say. She has an inner determination that I don't have, I'd have taken one of the 'scenery' roles myself.
It was a pirates and mermaids theme and I couldn't help but wonder if one of the girls knew what a mermaid was. She had a short pink dress on which seemed to be missing a lot of material in the midriff area. She looked like she was going straight for a night out in town.
I nearly never got to work this morning. My wife pushed me out of bed 15 minutes before I had to catch the bus. My brain is still catching up, though.
This is the problem

That's quite a nice piece of software. Notepad++ is first and foremost a text editor, you are able to select to use the NppFTP plugin from the 'Plugins' menu.

I used to use Firefox all the time until Chrome got all the Google account stuff added, now I find that easier to use with everything embedded in the browser. IE seems to have been making slight improvements, but not enough for me at the moment.
If I'm putting a new Windows box together I'll usually get the main install out of the way and then throw on this lot:
- ESET (shameless plug)
- Oracle VirtualBox
- Notepad++ (which has a great FTP module)
- Thunderbird
- Firefox
- OpenOffice / LibreOffice
- Steam (most important!)
What with being a Cisco kinda person I'll usually install Packet Tracer within the first couple of weeks for virtual network configuration and troubleshooting purposes.
Maybe I'll start a new thread about software. What do you full-timers think?
