On the plus side, if we did go somewhere in the UK I could bring my dog. It wouldn't feel right going away without her.
it's Devon as always for our summer holiday with a little stop over in Dorset. 6 days holiday for me but 2.5 weeks for my wife and daughter. I'd certainly prefer the longer break but the cattery bill would be enormous.
Health week day 2 at school. 2 sessions of tennis at the local tennis club which my daughter is a member of. Then it is fruit tasting, followed by relaxation, internet safety and then a visit from a group who are bringing a selection of bugs. And not a lot of school work I guess. It's quite early to be winding down for summer.
So my boss has been asking us to think about booking our summer holiday time. This would be fine if I was actually having a holiday. Looks like the third year running not going anywhere though.

My daughter wasn't feeling too well so I just sat in the car with her and left my wife to it. By all accounts it was a successful trip.
In other news, it is health week at school this week but strangely sports day doesn't seem to be worthy of inclusion. Today they have judo and then spiritual health.
Another fly-by weekend. We managed to get out to the local farm shop and see the Alpacas there yesterday, which was a nice little change from the norm, then tried a new board game that is supposed to teach kids programming. It's actually pretty good.
