Afternoon.

Well this Amazon Prime day thing is a bit of a washout so far for me. Not really any deals I like on there.

Morning.

Another busy day and have to pop down to the Post Office to post a parcel. I fear it will cost over £10 to post so I might see about using Parcelforce.

Evening all ... an unexpected 'busy' day here ... yet again ...

Local craft shop owner contacted me yesterday about her pc ... so it arrived this morning for 'maintenance' ... plus doors needed painting and door furniture needed replacing. OK, not a lot to field!

All things going 'swimmingly' then daughter-in-law texts ... she's got the 'sickness/diarrhoea' bug!

Granddaughter is ok but then I have to collect dad from work...he's got it etc etc.

So granddaughter for tea, vista pc fixed, door furniture done, door painting not done and granddaughter's parents are laid low ... just waiting for tomorrow's demands ;¬)

Answer...Bill everyone! They'll soon demand less when they have to pay. :)

Other news: Finally moved all my other domains over to Freeola so 100% hosted by them now. Was remarkably easy to do, as well and the Freeola panels are easier to use than the old domain host I was with. Win win.

Very much a win win, don't forget to claim your free .uk domains. You can register up to 5 per household for free for the next 15 days I believe.

You should see the little Union Flag graphic in the top right corner of this page. If not, just go here.

Most of the big Comic Cons for news of new seasons and film trailers. The leaked Suicide Squad one, new (and far better) Batman v Superman and Deadpool trailers were all worth waiting for and some good news about Flash season 2.

Afternoon all,

Major sad news as PB has already said, he was an amazing programmer and such an industry force.

Con season is really getting going now and I'm keeping my ears and eyes open for updates on the coming Defcon 23, are there any conventions that you pay particular attention to?

Morni...er...afternoon (as the clock has just gone 12)

Sad news about Iwata. A driving force at Nintendo through their ups and downs but at least they stayed true to their ideals. Will be interesting to see if a new CEO changes the direction of the company too. Still, the great man will be missed.

Well back at work after a week and a bit off. Judging by the emails, my boss was unaware I was on holiday... it must be so hard to keep track of 3 of us.

If you are ever going to see the bridge then now is the time to do it. No painting, no scaffolding, just the bridge in all its glory.

Haha ... not for the foreseeable future dav, too much 'decorating' to do :¬D
