The day just gets better and better. Little bat in our sink at work. It was sat on the brush used to wash the dishes so I lifted the brush up to the window. It smelled the air for a while, relieved itself and then it set off.

This year at work I've rescued a cat from the roof and a bat from the sink, I suspect I'm in the wrong job.

Morning,

it's been very wet overnight and still raining. The downstairs of the office got a bit flooded and the water is currently being pumped out. So, we have a lake in the office and a river in the car park. Exciting day so far.

The stairs thing is so true, but that's actually a case of making a mundane thing a bit less mundane.

It's interesting that our minds do tend to make up little 'games' to help with mundane tasks. I bet most of you have turned an everyday chore into a bit of a game at one time or another. I personally make it a race to make the tea before the kettle boils (switch the kettle on and then get cups, tea bags, sugar, spoons etc before it clicks off. Bonus points awarded for any biscuits, plates or other stuff added after the cups are ready!). Maybe that's just me, but I do know a few other people who do similar things.

Anyway. Good morning everyone. Seems to be a fairly good one today, weather wise. Pity I woke up with a headache and still can't quite shake it. Hopefully it will go pretty soon, though.

Life is just that ... you do a job and go home or do it from home and sometimes you feel the same ... life is mundane at times.

If you've never suffered from depression/anxiety because your life is so 'fulfilled' then you have something to be cherished and nurtured.

I paint doors, hand-build fences, mend pcs and moan about my family members etc etc but what is 'twitted' is so true to life ... it's not rocket science when some 'check-out' person asks about packing your bags! What are they going to do? Stop serving you and pack your bags? There aren't any extra staff in sight to assist! Besides, look at the excitement and exercise you'd miss if you didn't pack your own bags!

So when did you any of you ...

Count the number of times that you won in a row at Solitare?

Wondered how many times you repeated the same action day in, day out during your adult hood?

How many times did you charge your phone/tablet, just in case it needed charging?

Do you set your alarm clock/phone for a regular wake-up?

The list is endless ...

I'm off to remove my teeth now, they hurt so I take them out :¬)

Looks for 'LIKE' button...

So many classics!

This happened in the supermarket earlier.
Classic banter.

Woman on checkout:
Do you need any help with your packing?

Me: No thanks.

Can't imagine where he gets the inspiration from.

Morning.

Another overcast but warm day. I expect that warm, in this case, means 'muggy' again. Not a fan of that sort of weather.
