Weather is better today and we've had an update on the violin exam, she passed! All that extra practice was worth it, then, despite my ears still ringing.
Managed to play another couple of hours of Batman AK yesterday, too, an unusual feat in itself.
Rain, rain, rain. At least the plants are watered.
Went to meet my daughter's tutor for 'big school' yesterday evening, she was happy with the tutor she got and there's 3 other girls from her current class in the new group, so that helps. Such a huge step.
They're on a welcome day today to try the school out for a whole day before September. Her main worry is getting lost in the huge school, the third largest in the country.
Well, starting off dry, as opposed to what the BBC Weather would have me believe. Overcast and not that warm, but not raining yet.
Not that it matters now I'm in the office, I guess!
Youngest has her Violin exam (grade 1) today so hoping she doesn't get too nervous and does well enough to pass. I've had to endure screechy noises enough over the past month to hope that it's worth it.
No rain in Dorset and the sun has shown me my mistakes in applying the sun scream. Beach was packed today.
You're lucky you're in Dorset and not Devon! Hope you're enjoying the holiday.
Yeah, still figuring it out!
Been ok here but still only 18C or so yesterday and less today. Just got a soaking walking the dog. Started out nice, hence shorts and tshirt, but the heavens just opened after I got about 10 minutes in to the walk.
Been 24C here all day and then at 5pm we had a downpour ... 10 minutes ... it's15C, cool but a lovely clear blue sky :¬)
Just changed shorts for joggers:¬)

Similar, but 4 lines and with poles. Can't screw or drill into wall as its a fence and not very strong.
Now that's a conundrum!
With 4 lines, you're looking at some serious weight with wet clothes even with 'props'. Try sinking a new dedicated post in concrete for your 'clothes dryer' ... it might take the weight, but what happens at the 'other end' ... what will it be secured to?
P.S. 27C here today and 'roasted' again completing fence panelling :¬)

It's one of those extending long lines rather than rotary, has a pole either side. We've got nowhere for a rotary line to go.
If it's one of these then use screws and wallplugs[/i]
