This morning I ended up trimming our tall Acer with the aid of a ladder and telescopic branch cutters. Now in the car and soon heading for the swimming pool where I will have a two hour wait for the lessons to finish. If the weather is ok I'll probably just spend it ambling round a local park with the dog. Not the worst way to spend a birthday I suppose.

Afternoon all ...
Just seen this ... 30 cows in a field, 28 chickens, how many didn't?
Too abstract I guess ;¬)
I count 12 but granddaughter counts 13 ... that is strange :¬)
Surely it's 10.
Morning ...
Bingo pb :¬D Mrs DL couldn't see it ;¬)
I was referring to 'counting stairs' earlier
Stairs need a definition prior to counting! What constitutes a stair must be agreed upon.

Ever thought of joining the RSPCA?
I used to watch an RSPCA animal rescue programme on Animal Planet and always thought I'd like to do that job. The main issue would be cases of animal abuse; I'd rescue the animal and then pop back in to dish out a hiding and I don't think that's the done thing. A fine isn't enough though.

Ever thought of joining the RSPCA?

The day just gets better and better. Little bat in our sink at work. It was sat on the brush used to wash the dishes so I lifted the brush up to the window. It smelled the air for a while, relieved itself and then it set off.
This year at work I've rescued a cat from the roof and a bat from the sink, I suspect I'm in the wrong job.
Ever thought of joining the RSPCA?
Maybe it's just you attracting animals with some sort of strange latent animal power.
