Yep, can use the Bluetooth for communication with phones (download pics etc) and headsets as well as being the thing that runs the wireless controllers.

Oh, and the PSP GO!

Did it red ring Weirdo? Oh dear, I don't think we have your stats on this thread.

I really get the feeling that sooner or later your 360 will break at some point. I'm hoping the newer machines will at least last you until the next generation comes out.

I just read about the inbuilt wireless for the PS3. That's better than having cables all around the house. Maybe when "infinity" comes out the service will be a lot better.

What can you use the inbuilt bluetooth for though?

Personally I wouldn't consider buying a different console just to escape XBL live charges as I think its actually pretty cheap, works out about 50p a week if you get your subscription here .Good company as well, just used them for the second time this week.As already mentioned the only thing which does put me off XBL are the morons that seem to live on it.For people who don't know how bad it can be type 'halogayboy' into youtube (probably not a good idea to to post a direct link).

And It completely evens out when you consider the cost of Xbox live. Doesn't PS3 have a built in browser?

I wouldn't say PSN is considerably worse than XBL to be honest. Worse yes, but not by "the cost of XBLG" amount.

And exclusive games.... I can agree with that because of the RPG factor. But even that is kind of balancing out now.

Bottom line, XB is cheaper to buy because it is a lower quality console. You pay £100 more for a PS3, but you get:

Blu-Ray Player
Wireless inbuilt
No charge for network play, or online
Rechargable pads (as standard)
Hardware that isn't louder than Peter Griffin farting. (normally)
And generally it is a lot more reliable.

In the long run, an Xbox costs waaaaaaay more than a PS3. You're got your online to pay for, some people fork out for the wireless adapter, an absolute rip off (even though you can use homeplugs). Only thing Xbox has over PS3 are the exclusive games, and maybe Xbox Live (would be 1000x better if it was free).

That was in the early days, now the exclusives rival the 360. Killzone 2, Uncharted and it's excellent sequel (game of the year for many) and many more.

The thing is that you could say the same for the one console; why have Halo when you have Gears of War, they're both shooters after all? The fact is that they're both very different games in the same (well, almost) genre and the same goes for exclusives on the PS3 and 360.
