Right, finally sorted out this morning's emails and tasks for now. Meeting all afternoon so need to crack on with some more work, writing design plans for a new piece of software which should help our data quality.
Worst part will be finding out how long it will take the programmers to put something together.
As we seem to be talking weather, we just have heavy rain here in Cardiff (Edgy...did you warn me that the weather is always miserable in this city?).
It does however beat the snow, heading home for Christmas was the most white-knuckled I've ever been - snaking it up a steep hill (I'm actually surprised I made it!) and then a nice 30m skid on a main road. Then of course the poor driving conditions and freezing cold... rain does in fact seem to be a referred choice now!
Anyway, I must get back to this essay - so far 700 words and 18 references (i.e. without the citation I would imagine about 6 words...)
Been working from home today, due to some builders patching up the house. The dog is a bit upset, but the work needed to be done. Just needed a little break, so back to the reading I go!
Morning,
working from home again due to the weather. Can barely remember what the office looks like. Heavy snow forecast for today. It was November when I last saw my home town without snow.
You only have yourself to blame for living that far north ;)

Working from home, but still can't escape having to go out in the cold and wet this morning. Have to take the kids to school and stay for a meeting. Joy.
I was only messing Chris, besides which I live in Wrexham and it really would be a case of people in glass houses ............
Lol don't worry, I'm used to it ;D
And thanks :D Really looking forward to starting the course, as long as everything goes well.
Getting excepted into JM is a serious achievement, you've done really well mate.
I'm off to work now and yes it may very well surprise some of you to learn that there is someone who works in Wrexham who isn't Polish.
Racism again. I'd have to steal too many hubcaps anyway...
It's not really racism. Dialect-ism maybe ;)
