There seem to be some debate as to whether it is actually a zodiac sign or not.

Some astrologers have already written out new calanders and signs. This has got the media in a tizz.

Some have fervently stated that it is utter rubbish and the new sign is nothing more than a constellation, whereas the signs are primarily about the periods of yearly seasons (4 seasons, each with a beginning middle end = 12).

No opinion myself, just what I've read.

Ah I see. Well then no, I don't buy into any hype and I really don't care about astrology either. I actually liked that my star sign was unknown because it suits the position I take on the whole nonsense.
This is all a nonsense anyway. They've given it a fixed date so not to confuse people but the fact is Ophiucus actually changes every 20 years or so and you need to be born within that time. It's also only supposed to be about 2 weeks long. Most of the people now laying claim to it are doing so incorrectly.

My interest in this is solely about symbols. I associate myself with Ouroboros, the caduceus and Ophiucus is part of that because it's my star sign.

Damn Astrologers can't keep their mouths shut.

Or you could say damn media hype can't keep its mouth shut.

I take it you believe the hype then?

Morning all.

Despite some really bad reviews, I played Fighters Uncaged yesterday on Kinect. (it was free). I'm not sure what's wrong with me, but I quite enjoyed it.

Woah. Not quite what you expect when going to the tip!

Tomorrow is going to be a bit of a mystery day. My University lecture group is travelling to Huddersfield, why or where exactly we haven't been told yet. So that's going to be interesting, I guess... Take care everyone!

I went to the local tip today to be confonted with not only the police, but a Forensic Investigation team dusting for prints! There was even a Columbo look alike walking around and doing something with a handheld device. I'm guessing somebody dumped a body in one of the skips. And my DNA is in the bin bag I threw away, eek!

Seeing all the reviews for LBP2 make me want the game even more now.

So far this month I'd like to play:
Little Big Planet 2
Dead Space 2

Worst part will be finding out how long it will take the programmers to put something together.

Just question the estimate and then tell them it won't take that long... tends to be what happens to any estimates we give.
