Not looking good for that Nucular Reactor. Two explosions already. Isn't there some way of completely shutting them down?
Apparently not and using sea water to cool the reactor is 'an act of desperation' according to US Nuclear experts....plain or fresh water is the required medium. Obviously, not a lot of that around at the moment :¬(
It did make me realise just how contradictary some of the reports were though, especially those from different countries since the original reports. The rumours going around at the time just esculated things, such as the Pokemon creator had died. Which also resulted in people making jokes FAR too early...(Given the same treatment as SonicChris' joker)
At the moment people from my course are trying to persuade my University to do some sort of fund-raising event. However the Student Union are not entirely 100% sure whether or not to do something, so trying to come up with some ideas that everyone will agree with. Take care!~
No, it wasn't me
*EDIT* Oh, and unsurprisingly, people are already coming up with theories etc. ie. the usual rubbish that people come up with after a major disaster. Somebody's thought this: 11 09 01 - America lost lives. 10 03 11 - Japan lost lives. Add them together, and what do you know! 21 12 12. So does that mean the Mayans were right about the end of the world? No, it does not. December 21, 2012 is simply the day that the calendar will go to the next baktun. We've already experienced several baktun's, and they do not signal the end of the world, just a new period of time.
Sorry about the rant, it's just that "2012" really annoys me.
Yey! Machie's ok. Glad to hear you escaped the worst.
Next important question; Nintendo's office is ok, right?
But seriously, my thoughts go out to everyone out there and hope they can minimise further impact to the people and buildings. Probably going to take some time to get back on their feet in the worst hit areas, hopefully other countries will send aid to help. The Japanese economy will be badly hit too, which in turn affects the world economy and those that rely on parts and exports from Japan.
Machie, really glad to hear your OK mate.Like most of us been following developments on the news,it's just horrible.
