Only another month until the Lord Of the Rings Extended Blu-ray box set comes out. Still debating on getting it at its current price and even the fact that it's a 'Limited edition' probably doesn't mean anything these days, they seem to be available and in a sale a few months later.

I've already got the standard editions on Blu-ray (very good they are too) as I enjoy watching them and think the edits work well to keep the pace going. Some people don't seem to understand that a book doesn't always translate word for word into a film, which is why there are so many people that complain about the standard releases of films like this and Watchmen.

Well, felt crap this morning so stayed in bed longer and only just coming in on the bus.

Done so many extra hours that one less today hardly seems to matter.

I understood none of that stuff below, but, hey, hope everyone is having a good evening.

Firs time in ages I've not had to work in the evening and managed to update my site, which is good as it makes it look populated again. Will have to start to advertise for some help again soon though.

The league phase of the head to head league is 36 gameweeks and then there is a semi final and a final in the last 2 gameweeks. The result of gameweek 38 is there and DL Dragons won 39 to 37, thereby winning the head to head league.

Seems pretty simple to me. :D

Thanks for the explanation of the Head to Head League 'workings' ... it's not that obvious within the 'rules' or 'FAQ's' .... and thanks for confirming that I have won the Head-to-Head....but there is still some 'conundrum' within the final scores :¬(

I was reading it as you having won, the league table is a bit confusing as it includes all the results from the 'group phase' of the tournament. Looking into it, it seems that 'Sleepyheads' had a really strong group phase but lost the semi-final, knocking them out but still leaving them top of the league.

I agree that it's not very clear and really needs to be 'displayed' a little more clearly .... but I have to agree with your explanation but I do think it was rather unfair on Sleepyheads when after 36 games and two games to go, only my team could have overtaken her for the lead....those in 3rd and 4th place couldn't really affect the outcome :¬)

Morning all.

Hoping now the issues at work are getting sorted I can actually leave at a decent time and stress levels will drop. Done at least an extra 8 hours over the last week, if not more, so I reckon I can take Friday off at least.

Now that the Fantasy Premier League has 'officially' closed - (which I doubt) ... well done to all those who got involved ... it was a very good and competitive year.

However, even though the Freeola League seems complete and the final table self-evident, can anyone explain the 'confusion' that still seems to be evident in the Freeola-Head-To-Head? At least it is from where I'm viewing it :¬)
