On a lighter note, our local newspaper has chosen to enlighten its readers with the following items this week:
"Local Fire Fighters have now received the 'best possible personal protective gear' ensuring they get the best protection available" .....
meanwhile ...."A small fire was recently put out by firemen, using a bucket of water. All was made secure" ....
Really high tech equipment around here....makes you feel safe asleep at night :¬D

Stop your DD immediately and 'donate' your monthly amount physically....in other words, you hand it over each month to whom you choose and at least then you may actually know where it is going.
Clothes Collection Bags are a 'debateable' item.
I feel sorry for the organisations that use this method and that are actually genuine because an awful lot of 'organisations' aren't.
So unfortunately, everyone suffers.... so bin them immediately and at least the bags are then recycled :¬)

Definitely more of an american culture when its comes to charities in the UK these days. Inevitable I suppose because the aggressive/stalkerish tendancies of US charities tends to work so hardly suprisingly its creeping in. In fact, calling alot of them charities is misleading. More like businesses that just happen to give their profits to a good cause.
