This is what happens when you tell people your service is back online and contains free games. Everyone jumps on it at the same time and tries to download stuff, slowing the system.
PSN's been a laugh over the past few days hasn't it? Had to do all sorts to get LBP downloaded. Still wondering wether to go for DeadNation, Wipeout HD or inFamous. Think it'll be Wipeout HD. Dead Nation doesn't look brilliant, and inFamous will be finished with once the story is done. At least Wipeout will last awhile.

It wasn't just you. Everyone is still trying to access the store to download their free games or the glut of content on the store.

Yep! Finally decided what game to get first (Ratchet and Clank), and it's estimated roughly the same time scale. Thank goodness for Sky being on a seperate channel to the PS3. Just hope it doesn't slow it down, and that I have enough space... *still unsure when it comes to PS3/N stuff* Might take the time to have a look around while it downloads in the background.

Yep! Finally decided what game to get first (Ratchet and Clank), and it's estimated roughly the same time scale. Thank goodness for Sky being on a seperate channel to the PS3. Just hope it doesn't slow it down, and that I have enough space... *still unsure when it comes to PS3/N stuff* Might take the time to have a look around while it downloads in the background.

And what another shambles ... Germany, Spain, Italy and Holland all top their groups convincingly ... and second-rate nations such as England are really struggling to make an impact!
What a poor performance this evening but well done to Switzerland .... and I even made the comment that 'penalties' should be banned as they are a 'form of cheating' .... think about it especially with regard to this final result ....

PS3 and PSP welcome back content is up on the PSN Store, but if you haven't got it yet, I'd wait until tomorrow morning as the traffic is giving plenty of errors at the moment.
I eventually got my free games (InFamous and Ratchet and Clank for PS3, Killzone and Modnation Racers for PSP) after many attempts.
Oh and you CAN get another load of games if you already have a US account too...
