Duke Nukem demo out for all first access club members (through pre-ordering or getting the code in the Borderlands CE).
Just completed Klonoa 2, still deciding what to play next. Hope everyone has a good day/afternoon/evening!
Also noticed that Final Fantasy VI has been added to the PSone Classics so I'll probably have to snap that up as well.
Hoping that with Burnout Paradise on the books now, the big end of June Birthday update for PSN+ will have Big Surf Island for free. That would be great.
Must remember to take my disc copy of Burnout Paradise to CEX tomorrow!
I'm not 'allowed' a bike myself, had 2 friends seriously hurt on them and 1 killed. In all 3 instances they were knocked off by other vehicles.Much as I love bikes they are a definite no go in our household. As far as circuit racing goes they certainly provide far more exciting and unpredictable racing than most 4 wheeled varieties and most of the riders generally have personalities.Regarding the IOM TT,yes it's dangerous and while most modern racing circuits have been modified over recent years to make racing safer the TT course has not really been drastically changed since it's inception. If someone goes off there the chances are they are going to hit a wall, tree, building or fire themselves off the mountain. But I suppose it's that danger that is the attraction of the place to some isn't it? Many professional motorcycle riders will not race on the roads,in the past some have actually supported the call for the TT to be banned. One argument that I have heard in the past is that it's the guys who aren't ever going to be good enough to race in the likes of MotoGP,WSBK,BSB etc. who are drawn to this event and they should be protected from themselves. That is not my view as road racing is a completely different skill entirely to that of circuit racing, the time trial format of the TT probably has more in common with rallying than anything else.As for the guys who go over to race at the TT year on year, good luck to them.If they want to race on public roads in an organised professional event then I believe they should be allowed to do so.Saying that,I hope there's no more bad news to come from the island over the next week or so.
I am not anti-bike at all, and have seen plenty of safe and considerate bikers on the roads. That said, I feel the number of unsafe drivers has increased in general, and yes, certain bikers are putting everyone in danger. It's definately not only bikes though; I can't count how many times I've nearly had an accident from an overtaker in a car, or, dare I admit, a foreign driver on the wrong side of the road!
Completely agree. And the drivers who think they have a right to ignore a 30mph speed limit just because it's too slow for them. Usually when they're stuck behind me shaking their fist. I usually find smiling and waving at them is the best way to answer that.
