I still haven't downloaded my second game choice, but it will probably be WipeoutHD. I'm surprised to hear a couple of you aren't happy after making the same choice? I really enjoyed it when I played the demo many moons ago.
Also spent far too many hours on Burnout Paradise already. I set up an online free burn game which turned into absolute carnage. Even creating road race events just turned into 8 people smashing each other to bits rather than aiming for the finish line. Forgot how much I loved the game though, I could drive through billboards and yellow gates for days on end :)
Plus the 2 PSP games as well and Burnout Paradise. Can't complain.
Same here. Wish I'd gone for inFamous over Wipeout HD.
Exactly what I wished I'd done! Don't think you can change it now though, so will wait til it's cheaper instore.
Hmm..The Microsoft conference started well, but then seemed to go downhill when they went a bit Kinect happy. Then again, Ubisoft's host was someone worthy of punching. Poor guy kept going with the gags, even though he was greeted with sweet sweet silence. EA and Sony seemed better, but looking forward to Nintendos conference in a few hours.
My rig is nearing completion, just need a monitor. Niceeee.
a Bioshock game coming to the Vita has made me want the device even more. I dabble in a spot of handheld gaming during my lunchbreak at work and I'd have to say the games on the Vita appeal much more than the 3DS, as things stand. The price is decent but outwith my range so thankfully I've got 20+ games on the Go to keep me amused.
I kicked off my downloads for my PSN freebies last night. After something like 2 hours Infamous was at 10%... won't be playing that anytime soon.
EA's was alright, FIFA 12 is looking really good but NFS: The Run seems a little on the overly scripted side when it had quite a bit of potential (the running bit looked rather poor). I find it interesting that EA said SSX allows you to go into any mountain range in the world, so that's definately on my radar (although the PS3-exclusive Mt. Fuji seems to dispute that)
Ubi's - Tintin! Rayman Origins is looking fairly cool and the Assassin's Creed series interests me as it always has. Driver: SF...the Driver series hasn't ever seemed to recover since DRIV3R, but you never know, it could work.
Sony's - PSTV, Vita. I'm always late to the handheld party, if I arrive at all. Don't think Vita's going to change that any time soon. Sly Cooper 4 is an absolutely not unexpected announcement, but I will be getting it.
Seems to be just a lot less surprises this year. "Super Secret Remake", is still scheduled for today's set of E3s, with "Super Secret Sequel #1" and "Super Secret Sequel #2" on Wednesday, so I assume that'll come out during the Nintendo conference.
In other news: 2 down, 2 to go, the final exams are nearly finished, and I can go back to playing games and stuff properly on Thursday :)
