Got invited to a caravan for dinner by my friends over from Germany. In return, I introduced them to Allo Allo via YouTube!
Another show I remember and loved watching, Movies, Games & Videos. Oh and how could I forget Cybernet. Great stuff.

Talking about growing up with computer games, I was wondering if there are any video game shows on tv anymore? GamesMaster (any Dexter Fletcher fans?), Bits (any Emily Booth fans?), Bad Influence! (oh god Andy Crane), Thumb Bandits and Game-Pad. Shirley there must be something on tv. I mean everyone plays video games.
Oh I remember...I used to wach Game Pad! There's also Gamer TV done by Sam Delaney and someone else who I don't remember. It used to be on the Bravo channel.
Gamer TV is made by the same company that now makes PlayR on Showcase. Sam Delaney was the best thing about that show, once he went it was all downhill. He managed to be witty and downright rude about games and get away with it.
Bad Influence was great and Violet Berlin still writes about games every so often.

Bouff!
Bad Influence! (oh god Andy Crane)
Mr Vanilla
Thumb Bandits
The name is familiar but it's not registering.
Game-Pad
Think this one is still going at stupid o'clock in the morning.
There was another one. Cyber...something, it was on ITV at 4am in the morning.
Internet speeds appear to have been killed here, down to 3.95 Mbps from the usual speed of around 12Mbps, with a few cut outs over the last few days, quite irritating.
That's quite a big change!
Have you raised a Support Ticket ?
[s]Hmmm...[/s] @pb, oh dear then I better hit the car boot sales. Maybe as well as a neat present it will be an investment when they start selling for 20 pounds on ebay in 10 years. :) I wonder what I'll be able to get for my old Star Wars figures by then.
Oh and a PS2 would be a damn fine gift, so many great games to choose from.
