go to university when you are only 16? I have been doing the maths and it turns out I'll be 16 years old when I get my Highers back next year and if I get all the highers I need there are a few courses at university I really want to do. However when I send away my application forms I'll be 15 still and I'll only just have turned 16 when I get them back (Birthday in November). I don't see the need in staying on at Highschool if I have all the highers I need but I don't know if they'd even accpet me since I'm so young. Is anyone in the same position or have been in that position?

I have AS level Exams in about 5 weeks, doesn't mean we didn't spend most of a Maths lesson today gambling on two people who had a 40 minute game of knuckles. Also doesn't mean I turn up 5 days a week.

Cubist, you say you want to take art or something... so... do you know any sites on the net that has nice paintings/drawings/basic art of some of the most famous artists on their site to look at?

I gotta get some artists pics and print them out and draw them and stuff.

I REALLY want to go to Uni, I want to take History and Possibly some kind of Art subject. One day I want to be the curator of a Museum or an History/English teacher

Yeah, 1 lesson a week for each I think.

Seeing as though were now a "Language College" they have made us do all this language crap.

And I hate it.

I had the choice of Spanish, Russian or Chinese (yes, Chinese, even though there is no such language a teacher insists that he can teach it).

Theyre supposedly "fun" lessons these...

I think i'll just not attend.

General Studies and Spanish are compulsory? Balls to that, find a better college/6th form.

Hoping to get my 5 A-C's to get into 6th Form.

Then I shall be doing:

Double IT
Art
Graphics
General Studies & Spanish (compulsary)

As A-Levels.

Then I want a job.

That's what I said should happen to my Maths Teacher! but then there were like hundreds of different guns and a whole murder trial I'd have to go through so I just left it...for now...

The Education system is stupid. My mother's a teacher, she agrees. My Philosophy teacher agrees, Deputy head of 6th form agrees, most of my friends agree.

And the Minister for Education should be shot.
