go to university when you are only 16? I have been doing the maths and it turns out I'll be 16 years old when I get my Highers back next year and if I get all the highers I need there are a few courses at university I really want to do. However when I send away my application forms I'll be 15 still and I'll only just have turned 16 when I get them back (Birthday in November). I don't see the need in staying on at Highschool if I have all the highers I need but I don't know if they'd even accpet me since I'm so young. Is anyone in the same position or have been in that position?

And I'd want to be able to read Japanese, not speak it. I found it impossible to speak a European language, so an Oriental one would probably make my brain cry in a corner.

Japanes would be useful. But would you learn all of it? Or just half; the kanji half. So you could speak it.

But but but... theres no such thing as Chinese...

If forced I'd have taken the chinese. Though I'd prefer Japanese to be honest.

Id rather be sick than learn Russian.

At least id be making the same sounds, but being sick is much more fun... seeing all those different chunks and all.

We gambled on how many times our teacher said "Shush" in the Chem lesson. She always says it. I said about 60 something times. I won about £2.

We just kept on cheering whenever she said it, which made her say it all the more.

Teacher: Ok class, shush
Us: Hurrah!
Teacher: Now todays lesson...
*mumbling*
Teacher: Shush class
Us: Woohoo!
*later on*
Teacher: Shush and get on with your work...
Us: Yayayayay!
Teacher: Whats so funny you lot? Is it because im saying shush? Does me saying shush make you happy?
Us: Yay! Hurrah! Woo!
Teacher: Shush shush shush!
Us: 48... 49... 50...
*teacher goes crazy and starts saying shush every 5 seconds*
Us: Muaha... 58, 59, 60, 61...
*bell rings*
*I is declared winner*
*me collects money and runs off giggling*
