Anyone being watching the news at the moment. About the possibility of the pilots being captured in Baghdad. The news shows Iraq soldiers shooting around the area near the edge of the river and setting fire to some fo the bushes.

B52's took off earlier, so they should be arriving in a few hours.
US have nothing on it to confirm any of what is supposedly happening.
The news person in Baghdad says he has a report that there is Anti Aircraft fire happening somewhere near by and they say an attack might be comming in.

Think you are thinking of the other plane that was shot down by a patriot missile.
Seems the Iraq people will be paid if the capture any Allied troops, half the price if they are dead. Something is definately going on as there is a lot happening around the bridge and river area.

For once the Americans are showing the entire world that they are dumb idiots, but I think it was the wrong time to do it, especially in a war like this.
Quite honestly I wouldn't expect them to admit it until the very last minute. How depressing.

A news program in Baghdad claimed that an Allied plane was shot down and the pilots bailed out and parachuted into the river.
US says that no allied planes are missing. But judging by the scenes on television there are loads of Iraq soldiers and civilians setting fire to bushes at the river and some soldiers shooting at points in the river. News is saying that Iraq soldiers have captured a pilot and you can see people celebrating.
