"War on Iraq thread.."

Looked through and can't find any other thread like this, just plenty of single threads making a few points.

Try keep it all in here just to clear up this forum a bit and prevent information being posted more than once.


Anyone being watching the news at the moment. About the possibility of the pilots being captured in Baghdad. The news shows Iraq soldiers shooting around the area near the edge of the river and setting fire to some fo the bushes.

Nope.

He was a Muslim, and a backbench Hussein Regime supporter.
Basically, he was a traitor.

Apparently this US soldier has been arrested for rolling three grenades into American tents. One soldier died and thirteen were injured. It happened for undisclosed reasons, but the rumours say it was either shock or the fact he didn't want the war to happen. Terrible.

In northern Iraq, heavy fighting has been taking place to the south of the city of Irbil. A local Kurdish commander says the battle was between Iraqi soldiers trying to defect and a loyal army unit.

I just saw the videos of the prisoners of war, and quite frankly I'm shocked, surely Blair and Bush can now see what they've done?

A correction, now that I'm back near a copy of the Metro

Total causalties on both sides since the start of the war last Thursday:

Number of US Casualties: 18 (12 in combat and 6 accidental)
Number of British Casualties: 16 (all accidental)
Number of Iraqi troops killed: 70
Number of Iraqi civilians killed: 85

Even worse.
