I thought it was a little odd that the price of the Gamecube had slashed to a stupid £99 with free game. It's now been announced that Dixons will no longer stock the Gamecube!! It also looks like Game and PC world (Colchester shops) aren't that interested in Gamecube either if you live in this neck of the woods!!! Please comment on this and if shops around your area are not stocking Gamecube/Games anymore!!!

This is good.

I'm going to Dixons after I.T to see if they have Sonic Mega Collection or Mortal Kombat. Then I'll go Currys (down the road) then down the road again to PC World.

Bargains are good.

I only had 15 quid on me at the time. The only game that wasnt 25 quid was Rocky which was 20 quid.

You only have £15? God you must have been buying something else before you chose to get ED. What else is there?

In my Local Dixons (stockport) all the Gc games are £25 - I was a 10 pound note short on saturday to get Eternal Darkness.

My small town WHSmiths in Witney hasn't even stocked anything to do with the Xbox, which is good for me. I just went into town yesteray and my dixons which is on the opposite side of my WHsmiths still sels Gamecube games, but it was a bit odd when i didn't see a space for Resident Evil Zero there, when i did in WHSmiths.

I'm stunned that Dixons ever sell a damn thing. There is nothing that they sell that cannot be found SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper elsewhere.

Perhaps their sales are poor because Gamecubube owners are inexplicably more financialy prudent, and not as likely to be duped into paying unnecessarily infalted prices as owners of some other consoles which I won't name.

That's probably something to do with their overly high prices on consoles and games. Whenever I browse my local Dixons I always laugh at the fact that they're selling all their games at RRPs of £40-£45!
No wonder they have bad sales, the over-priced fools.

I'd probably give a toss, but I don't shop in the high street for games anymore, nor do I buy them from places which specialise in anything other than games. It'd be bigger news if it where a games retailer, which it isn't so pah.
