I thought it was a little odd that the price of the Gamecube had slashed to a stupid £99 with free game. It's now been announced that Dixons will no longer stock the Gamecube!! It also looks like Game and PC world (Colchester shops) aren't that interested in Gamecube either if you live in this neck of the woods!!! Please comment on this and if shops around your area are not stocking Gamecube/Games anymore!!!

We won't be losing game as a retailer which is the main thing.
PC World (owned by Dixons) also have it for ninety nine quid with a game, I'm sure Gamecube owners couldn't really care less about Dixons and PC World really, hardly tear jerking stuff is it (and that's from a PS2 owner!)
It's no big deal. Who here bought their GC from Dixons anyway?

Now that's an idea for a topic...
Why aren't any of you asking the question, "Why have they dropped it?". Could it be that sales of it are poor so they are dedicating more shelf space to the consoles and games that are doing well? Dixons, and even dedicated games shops, do not give a damn about who makes what consoles. If things don't sell, it's wasted shelf space and that affects the bottom line.

See, people tend to turn to companies/ retailers such as GAME, SR (:D) or even Toys 'R' us, not Dixons. If someone said 'Dixons' to me, I'd think of Hi-Fi's before GC.

GC games. And if they're dropping the cube presumably they won't be selling the games either.
