I cant see anything resembling a match happening. Most likely a beatdown right from the start by a third party.
The Kennedy idea is a good one, but I'm not so sure if they want to "waste" the whole MITB angle. It should be rather interesting.
Oh and Smedlos, we already discussed this news on the Backlash thread, so there is no need to copy-paste Meltzer all the time...
They've booked Undertaker Vs Batista in a title cage match for next week
Dont know how they're going make that match work.
Bad news for the Deadman. After winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Batista at WrestleMania, it was widely reported that the Undertaker was in line for his first long WWE title run. Now those plans will have to change due to a bad injury he suffered this past weekend before Backlash.
The Undertaker has suffered a torn biceps that will require surgery. He suffered a complete muscle tear, with his bicep muscle being torn off the bone and rolling up to his shoulder. He was in tremendous pain Monday morning after his match with Batista the night before at Backlash.
Undertaker saw "surgeon-to-the-superstars" Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama this week and surgery will be required. Recovery time for this procedure will keep him out of action for 6 to 8 months.
This injury will require him to drop the World Heavyweight title.
Expect Batista or Kennedy to win the title soon.
Jillian Hall's terrible singing character isn't based off of "American Idol", but rather, Brooke Hogan. The company is using Jillian as retribution to Hulk Hogan for revealing the names under consideration for this year's Hall of Fame over the radio, which infuriated Vince McMahon to say the least. She's now being marketed as that character, so it looks like it's permanent.
Jillian debuted the character at the February 6, 2007 SmackDown tapings in Omaha, NE, a few weeks after Hogan read the HOF candidacy list on the Bubba the Love Sponge show. Jillian had her hair styled after Brooke Hogan. She was also given accented contact lenses to make her eyes the same unusual blue color that Brooke's eyes are.
As it turns out, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H actually came up with the character, not Vince McMahon. Vince simply okayed it because he's currently upset with Hogan. Also, Triple H holds great disdain for Hogan, so this thing shouldn't come off as a surprise.
