Gunnar Scott, who you may remember from his brief stint on Smackdown as Chris Benoit's 'apprentice' and who worked in OVW under his real name 'Brent Albright' has been released from the WWE

We do know that Gunner Scott was sent back to Ohio Valley Wrestling after appearing on the Smackdown brand this summer when he was told his character was not "connecting with the audience." We also know that he had just cut his long hair and shaved his facial hair, and was going to take some time off so he could be repackaged.

Who needs a reason? I can see Chavo just using Eddie's name with very little relevance to anything, just to keep getting cheap heat for as long as possible...

But then i can't think of any reason for him to have a storyline feud with someone over Eddie nowadays. Although of course the WWE will probably find a reason for one, something like Matt Hardy said Hi to Eddie in the wrong tone of voice or something so Chavo must defend Eddie's legacy

Well, Chavo is still on the active roster...so I doubt that.

I'm sure the return of a certain someone last night will even that out.

All Rey leaving means is no more dragging Eddie up at every damn opportunity for a few months (hopefully)
