Practically every PC game that's released these days is on DVD. Those that aren't tend to be on 4+ CDs, so they might as well be on DVDs.
DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK that, for example, Final Fantasy 7 is worse than, say, FIFA2006?
Because it's on a smaller medium?
btw

Yes, I'm partially blind.
TV ads = publishers with big budgets. Again, the level of advertising bears no direct reflection the quality of a game.

These reasons being?

You asked me for bad DVD-Rom games so I gave you some. What more do you want? LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth is balls as well.

Yes, everyone can see it's me. What exactly is your point?

What's a matter - 'selected reading'?
You obviously "just missed" the part below it.
Btw, yes it's safe bet if a game is available on DVD Rom this game could be pretty good.
For a number of reasons.
The games you mentioned are just your opinion.

Because?
Again, explain to me WHY a game is 'top notch' just because it needs a medium with more than 700mb capacity .
CD = 700mb
DVD = 4.7GB
Great, this makes the game better.......how?

They were good because they were on DVD Rom of course.
It had nothing to do with the fact that....the games were good. if they'd come on CDs, they'd be crap. Plus, there are multi-CD versions of those games, and HL2 can be downloaded via Steam. I suppose those aren't as good as the DVD versions.
> It's not about the XBox. This is a PC Forum btw.
So if a PC game is on DVD Rom, it'll be good and for an Xbox game, this is untrue? Please explain. Why is this 'rule' true for one format and not another?
>

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Unreal Tournament 2004
I also believe Fifa games are available on DVD-ROM, and they're completely balls.
What age are you? For your own sake I hope you're about 13.
