WoW - Cannot connect to server
Warcraft III - Cannot connect to battle.net
It must be something with the university's network but I don't know much about it.
umm help?
How would you have time for that if you was playing a game?
#:S!
Possibly because he enjoys the game?
As long as you don't consume copius amounts of bandwidth, you'll most likely be able to get on fine with the method that tigamilla posted below.
They can see how much bandwidth I'm using so WoW shouldn't be much more than browsing web pages or downloading something, but can they see specifically what I'm looking at?
I know they can detect P2P clients so how is that given away but not running WoW?
Install this:
http://www.socks.nec.com/Download/SocksCapDownload/index.asp
Then this:
http://www.http-tunnel.com/html/solutions/http_tunnel/client.asp
(You will have to pay the $4.99/month subs Im afraid)
Once you've got the HTTP-tunnel high bandwidth subscription running simply open WoW IN Sockcap (You will have to set up a WoW profile in sockscap)
I hope that helps
