WoW - Cannot connect to server
Warcraft III - Cannot connect to battle.net
It must be something with the university's network but I don't know much about it.

Hmm... sounds like they sent you a dodgy key, contact customer services or fiddle around with the other options... it should still connect without the key though - you can check this by clicking on the diagnostics tab.

Have you paid for the high bandwidth subscription for the tunnel? Although it claims to work without the subscription, the bandwidth is limited to a paltry 5Kbs or so. - Also always start the tunnel before using sockscap...
