Very nice.
Anyway my dad is going to try teach me the basics then build it up from there.
At the moment with uni, uni work etc I can't afford the time or money to get lessons from someone who does it and is good at it.
SO could anyone give me some good begginers books, webpages. Pointers in where to start etc - just incase my dad begins to annoy me. :-)
Thanks if you can offer any helpful pointers.

Mine's never been tuned because I'm useless at such things. I TRIED, but my friend has an auto-tuner, and he'll bring that around soon.
No fretted strings? Cool. I gotta try that. Post the tab for me will ya mate?
Only just started learning about Tabs too! They still confuse me...!
Saying that I think he did strum upwards from time to time but the tab doesn't show that.
Anyway, thanks. Couldn't be arsed to sit there with the DVD on.

Heh, it's only 4 chords, easy for beginners too so take note.
I'll post the chorus (it's the same pattern throughout the song) if you want all the words just ask. Listen to the song for a nice feel of how it goes.
C, F, Am, G
That's it.
C Free
F
Love on the
Am
free - love
G
free- way, the
C
love is
F
free and the
Am
free - way's
G
long. I got some
hot love on the hot love highway
Ain't going home cause my baby's gone (she's gone)
You should be able to work it out from that. It's the only way I could post it because you know what happens when you try to post things with spaces in on SR, it all get's messed up. Have fun!

I'm sure you are very good
I started playing about six or seven years ago. Have to say I'm bloody good now, and I've never even thought about having a lesson. What you want to do is grab yourself a few beginners tab books or the chords for a couple of songs off the net and go for it. All very simple, truth is there isn't an easier instrument to play - any old fool can do it (and I include myself in that).
Me dinner is just on the table - I'll give some recommendations later.
Found a few books but not much beginners stuff. Have got one with the basic chords in it which I am trying to practice.
