If you mooch about on the Special Reserve and Freeola sites you'll find little problems or annoyances. e.g. why can't I do this, I can't understand that or couldn't we do the other.

So we would like your comments in this BUG TEST. An extra prize will go to the person who contributes the most to improving this site with little tweaks or solutions.

LITTLE TWEAKS are the operative words. You will not win anything for suggesting that we spend £35 billion on a re-design.

You must post your comments under this topic (or the similar one on the Playstation 2 forum) to stand a chance of winning.

Good luck

The Winner will be decided on Christmas Eve

We draw the line at removing topics because the people who posted them could be upset by this.

Also - flipping the topics could be confusing because upon replying to the topic at the top of the list it would fly off to the bottom of the list 57 pages away!

But I agree that we must have some easier route back to older topics, and the 10 pages at a time suggestion sounds like quite a good idea to me.

More and more topics get pushed down, so we can't read them from that page, i know making it bigger will help but instead of that Hot topic thing, we could have a red coloured today and yesterday's, sign up to say these are the very latest or why not have signs saying it's a popular topic?

I disagree adding more topics would make this worse but it would be a good idea to get rid of the rubbish topics

More topics, maybe. Not too much since some of the space is wasted on rubbish.
The other thing would be page flipping from the oldest topics to the newest, then we could use your 10 page forwards thing and find old topics a lot quicker.

Tweak 13c: Remove old topics >90 days old and place them in archive, this would free up memory and improve speed too.

Good point. I think we could have more topics on each page as well without compromising the page loading speed too much.

Small pictures would be fine, large one would leave us with tons of pictures with a load of text to read!

It may not be possible but it would be preaty cool if we could insert pictures into the text to back up our arguments. Say you could clip a picture of a dreamcast to an article about dreamcast.
I think that this would be cool!

True but the problem is that the Future of Gaming is too large to be navigated with page number, also as people change the order of articles (i.e. as they reply to them) its going to be hard to find articles. It sort of goes back to what I said earlier that we need a search engine, drag down menu that can find our last posts, or posts started by us easily.
How to do this is harder than it sounds....thats why I suggested back and forth 10 pages because its easier to implement.

It wouldn't really quicken it, you would miss some out!
The best way like the large topics is the page numbering at the bottom.
