i'm a big fan of britney spears she writes some excellent songs and each song is such variable range. A good example of a well written song she did was "i love rock and roll" basically if you haven't heard it it's like a hardcore rock music song and it's really quite heavy i think that even hardcore thrash metal bands such as sum41 and the strokes will be proud of. And because this song was such a landmark for modern music you can imagine my disgust when it only reached number 10 in the UK chart i mean what has happened to music?? her new album looks really good as well she has such a great voice and she writes all of her own song she is obviously the most talented singer ever, i mean everyone goes on about bands like the beatles and even led zepplin, but what have they changed in music they have done nothing to innovate the music world unlike britney who is so original and unique. what are your views?

Has anyone heard of this new up and coming band called muse they have their debut album that just come out called showbiz and they are really god. Just remember who informed you of them

I've heard construction sites that make better music than Slipknot, it's not case of us broadening our minds it's a case of you going through a stage in your life. You're probably angry with your life or pieced with the world so the way you rebel is by listening to that tosh.

Don't worry we've all been there.

There's nothing to understand about their music it's a bunch of redneck hicks who hav realised there's a market for this kind of crap. They realise if they look weird and are the loudest and swear a lot then the kids are gonna like them, they don't care about their fans or the music they make, they're in it for the money just like all the other Nu Metal hybrids, why else do you think they're in the pop charts if they care about the music so much? I say kudos to them, they truely are one of the biggest marketing scams of recent years and the kids are playing into their hands like little sheep who think they're rebelling.

Slipknot are pathetic they are complete pikeys performing heavyish rock music

thats not the point, they're popular meaning people like them. I could say Tenacious D aren't Quality. their lyrics are stupid but I still love them.

Don’t confuse popularity with quality. Just because a group is popular doesn’t mean they’re any good.
Take Gareth Gates for example, he’s popular, but he sure as hell ain’t good.
