i'm a big fan of britney spears she writes some excellent songs and each song is such variable range. A good example of a well written song she did was "i love rock and roll" basically if you haven't heard it it's like a hardcore rock music song and it's really quite heavy i think that even hardcore thrash metal bands such as sum41 and the strokes will be proud of. And because this song was such a landmark for modern music you can imagine my disgust when it only reached number 10 in the UK chart i mean what has happened to music?? her new album looks really good as well she has such a great voice and she writes all of her own song she is obviously the most talented singer ever, i mean everyone goes on about bands like the beatles and even led zepplin, but what have they changed in music they have done nothing to innovate the music world unlike britney who is so original and unique. what are your views?

Sorry, I can't be bothered to read the last 3 pages, but someone please tell me. How the hell did you get from talking about Britney Spears, to Slipknot? You can't get much more of a contrast!

No Philip, I don't wear baggy jeans, a chain a slipknot hoodies. I do although have an Iowa T-shirt for when I saw Slipknot.

No Devro, Rap like Eminem and Nelly is the biggest pile of crap ever in my opinion. All they do is talk about cleaning things like their closets and just talk about doing drugs and things. I hate them. I only rock and Royksopp. Rock including all types EXCEPT bands with women in. They just annoy me, don't ask me why.

Just so long as your not one of the hooded pikeys who like eminem and Nelly and people like that, I might not like slipknot so much, but rap.

I will finish the arguement if you ask this question truthfully:

'Do you wear the baggy jeans, the big chain and the black hooded Slipknot jumper that all their fans do?'

That's what makes me laugh!

Obviousley some of you are too stubborn to negotiate so I'm gonna be the grown up and finish this arugment once and for all. Let everything go back to the way it was before some said Slipknot sux. And they don't in my opinion, they're the best metal rock band in the world ( in my opinion)

yeah I like other bands aswell, but Slipknot are my fav. If you cant see the genius behind them fine. I'm not some moshing pikey, I'm one of the most friendliest 19yr old guys you can get who lives in a massive house.

I bet some of you that are going against Slipknot like MCing, and if you don't, you have to at least admit that Slipknot is better than that absolute crap where fags just talk as fast as they can making no sense saying ENTER about 30 times in 10 seconds.

Its something hard to explain how stupid people like some of you can be. Nothing I can write can tell you how annoying you are that all the things you are saying about Slipknot are your own opinions. And I can't stress enough that you don't understand them and know them, to know that they're not just in it for the money. Do some research, learn about the masks and the members even if you don't want to so you can see how wrong you all are.

Stop stating what you 'know' about them cos the point is you don't know.

And there's gonna be some people that reply to this that havn't thought about what I've said and are just gonna reply something stupid. I'm not persuading you to like them.

I'll give you an example of what you're like. Say you like Oasis.

'Oasis are a bunch of pikey's from where ever and they play absolute crap music. They don't care about their fans. If you like them you're stupid and I feel sorry if you do like them'

I'm not all against Slipknot, but I kinda got sick of the peole who go around with all the merchandise and think that absolutely nothing else is good. One of my friends likes slipknot a lot, but hes not one of those people and at least he likes some of the same bands as me. Unfortunately he does also like Nickelback, and that is where I begin the laughing and taunting.
