So I get up early for once on holidays to do history essay and geography

But wait my RAM has arrived in the post, I'll do that.

Disconnect computer, take cover off, touch radiator etc

AH there the RAM slot... about 5000 wires are in the way and is behind a metal bit which cut my hands to bit. 2 of the wires were disconnected for some reason.

So I manage to fit the RAM chip thing, put computer back together put on power.

Then it says memory error... and start-up screen is fuzzy. it's not fuzzy now but still only says 64MB

So what's up?

eh eh?

Whoever said it was easy try my computer

And don't suggest take it to SR because I live in Scotland

There's only one thing a computer understands... WATER. It's time to teach your machine some manners. I suggest you carry out some kind of torture program. Try throwing water on it's CPU. P.S. I cannot be responsible for your safety, nor that of the computer. I strongly suggest you hire a proffesional torturer, or by a "my first: torturing a computer" book.

Firstly, lol at you living in scotland.
Secondly, I know what you mean, Computers can be V annoying. On several occasions, after getting the case to fit back on the tower, I've heard a rattle. I take it apart, look again, nothing losse. Put it back together again and it rattles again. What really annoys me is when that last screw on your hard drive has been worn away so much that instead os a screwdriver, you need PLIERS. And when you try to put the screws back, don't get me started. It's so fiddly!
