I think you do have to complete all racers for gold medals I'm afraid, it's something which doesn't, or didn't really bother me until I got onto the Point of Impact and Heart Attack championships. Their bloody hard to get all gold on.

Ah, thanks! I`ll have to give that a go tonight!

I have a quick question, which I can answer myself tonight, but if anybody wants to put my mind at rest then thanks muchly!

In championship mode, when you have a five race tournament, and you get say, for example 2nd in the first race, but then first places after that, you don`t unlock all the features. I did this exact thing, and though I unlocked something, it said several things were still locked.

Does this mean I have to win all five races in the tournament all in one go, or can I go back and just win the one I didn`t win the first time? It`d be annoying if I had to win all five, as it might take a few attempts.

What you do is to get the mini turbo at the start is this:

When he starts the count down from 3-1, on 3 pres square and straight away press X, not together but square then X. This will get the tyres spinning but the handbrake is still on. Now keep the tyres spinning until about the last half of 1 and then press and hold X which will make that cool noise and as soon as you start, you shoot off well fast.

Does anybody know what time you have to accelerate to get a boost at the start?, I can wheelspin and get quicker, but no boost.
I would like to do tricks like the hot rod does in face off when it burnouts at the start

One thing I've noticed about the crash mode is that the buses and trucks cause more damage and money. Getting them to pile into each other will cost millions in insurance damage.

The mountain top one is damn near impossible to get gold. I like pretending that I'm a crazy man sent by a secret government agent and that every single person in the other cars and on the buses is a deadly terrorist with weapons of mass destruction.... and so, I crash, and then in the helicopter bit, judge how many people you've killed. If you pretend that, it gives you more motivation to crash better.

Forced to go top speed? I don't get it... does anybody actually use the brakes anyway? I'm always at top speed!

Actually, I did brake once at an intersection to avoid a coach. It's usually pretty pointless because you're going to get hit anyway though...
