So I thought it would never happen to me. I thought my Boyfriend was different. I thought he wouldn't lie to me.

Your point, which people have a remarkable knack for missing, seems to be that because he was hiding it from you and lying about it, that was a bad thing.

But it was also a natural thing to do regardless of what has gone on before in your relationship. Before you didn't stumble in on him, and as there was no secrecy there was no guilt. However, as he was looking at porn when you were out of the room, there was secrecy, so when you discovered him, he would be embarrassed and so naturally try to deny it, which is pretty much what any guy would do.

With this in mind I was wondering whether your problem was not so much with the lying, but with the fact he did it behind your back. I doubt he had a pre-conceived plan to boot up the computer for a porn-fest as soon as he heard the bathroom door click, it probably just happened, and men being men will look at porn, which would have embarrassed him on being discovered.

I'd recommened the Goaty approach, or just have baths together and minimise the risk of him doing things behind your back...

I wasn't shouting at you for being inexperianced (I wasn't shouting at you). Its just everyone has assumed that I am against porn, and I'm really not.

He probably lied so not to upset you as you get the general inpression that woman go all "eurgh thats disgusting" about porn.

So tell him not to lie again and be open and if he lies again kick him in the balls.

Given the response I had when my girlfriend tried to do this to me, I wouldn't recommend it.

My response was to format my hard drive, and deny my girlfriend any access to my PC by passwording EVERYTHING.

yeah I've done that though, and he has made all the apologies he can, but I just don't belive what he says anymore, It could be time to move on, but thats gonna be Damn hard because I still love him and need him loads.
