Your right. I'm not gonna do anything of course. I'm going to absolutely let him get away with it with only the minimal of anguish. But i didn't really mean to ask what I should do (did I ask what I should do?), but it has really made me feel loads better to talk it through with you guys (and also a male frind).

I suppose I place a much higher price on honesty than most people, but thats because I'm a really honest person. I find it just complicates things if I'm not. Of course everyone lies sometimes, I do it to protect people sometimes. So maybe I'm just as bad.

Here's my thoughts, for what it's worth;

You probably already know what you want to do about all this, without asking us lot here. I don't mean this in a nasty "shut up" kinda way.

It's just that most of the time people know what the right thing for them to do is, and they're just waiting for others to give them some kind of reassurance that it is the right thing to do.

On another note, nearly eveyone lies at some point or another, and it's not always for obviuos reasons.

Your right of course (not about the goaty approach). But I always invite him into my baths. I guess a four year old relationship. (been living on our owh together for about 6 months now) has got to get a bit stale at some point.
