The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.
You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

As far as all reports indicate, the 2 remakes are NOT being improved graphically.
just updated as far as contorls and config goes.
as some of you may have read in my other post i have the resident evil 0 trial edition from Japan.
and i must state again WOW!!
it is amazing, the graphics are so much better than that in the first one!

Get a bit of info on them first. They might be worth getting, purely for the storyline and engaging gameplay. Expect SOME graphical enhancement too.
Right os it's about £20 each. Not bad, but should I buy them?
If it's $40.00, then that equates to roughly £25.00. Though I doubt it will be as cheap as this, you can expect prices to be a bit lower than £40.00. Also, Resident Evil 2 and 3 (the two non-remakes apart from minor graphical enhancements) will come together.
The thing is, Capcom are still charging the full $40 in America for the ports even though they are quite old. I might not buy them if they are gonna cost me £40 each!
I suppose you're right, but there's no doubting the graphics are going to be much sharper.
They ARE just ports, no improvements. If they spent time remaking all the games then Resi 0 and 4 would never see the light of day.
I really hope CAPCOM put as much effort into the other 'Resident Evil's as they did with the first remake. That way, Nintendo may consider buying out CAPCOM.
