The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.
You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

My m8 said that when he came he accross a human he would shoot it cos he couldn't tell if it a zombie, a man nor a God :)

I was playing the original Resi Evil on my PC the other day, my God i'd forgotten how bad it was, the graphics are terrible, the voice acting is so crap and the live action cut scenes are hillarious.

The answer to that question is no, They are just making RE2 and RE3 ports from the N64 version. They look nearly exactly the same and even the graphics are being unchanged, Tighten your seat belt for a another blocky Resi evil instead of the lush deatiled graphics

Just kidding. I'm playing through the PS1 version again, which I got last week. Just beaten Plant 42. I now have all decent Resident Evil games, and within the space of two weeks :)

Damn good deals if you ask me. Are RE2 and RE3 being remade also? If so, that will rock, but it is a cash-in really :\

I just completed the game getting the best ending :D The most hardest boss would have to be...Err...Tryant 2? (At the heipad if u were wondoring) And you're right about the bosses are even hardly a pain. I do guess that when you are beating a boss...The mind finds it hard keeping cool and wondoring whats gunno happened next...
Anyway :) 16 hours to complete the game 1st time and now i can enter this topic without the game spoiling for me like when i entered this and found out that Wesker was the bad guy when i was vs Plant 42...
On the PS1, they said you had to get the Serum in 15 minutes to save

yeah i had never played it before on the ps and i completed it with the best ending possible on jill. it was hard but worth it. when i was fighting the tyrant barry was getting beatern to death. he was sitting in the corner getting completely mullered. i swear one more slash and he was a gonner. then the rocket launcher dropped down and ifired a missile at the tyrant just as he was about to swipe! yeehah isaevd the world. mind you the end cut scene is pretty poo anyway. you all just get in a helicopter and fly home! no report or scene back in racoon city.
