"Resident Evil"

The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.

You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

Grr! Played for two hours, then got killed by a Crimson Head! Now I've lost all my work! Damn you sparse Ink Ribbons!

My mate bought this game from Gamestation (or somewhere like that) second hand, aswell as doshin the giant, also second hand, but now he wants to sell res evil to me cus he saiys its too hard, (perhaps he's a chicken) Anyway he's lendin it to me whilst he goes on his hols and if i like it i can have it for £25. Hows that for a price. I am eagerly awaiting the game.I was thinkin about gettin anyway but now i can get it cheaper. Just depends on if i like it, at least i can give it him back if i don't. Unlike some shops i know *cough cough*

I did like it at first, believe me. It's just over time the levels have got a bit more difficult and the little glitches now make all the difference.

I didn't mean the mocks were in June.....I was asking if he was revising for his mocks because the real ones are in June and so there isn't need to revise for them yet.

Back on topic.....I know what the game must be like with the rocket launcher - I got all the hidden weapons on Resi 3 and it became boring after a while. You just carry teh rocket launcher and gatling gun everywhere.....the nemesis shows up and he's down in one shot.

This is your opinion though, the majority of people on this site who have it say it's superb, 95% of magazine reviews say it's superb, infact the only not so good review i've read is on gamespot and they're owned by Microsoft so are biased as hell.

You are very much in the minority my friend, I'm not saying your opinion isn't valid, just that maybe it wasn't your sort of game in the first place and was unlikely to appeal to you however good it was.
