The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.
You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

Thanks, the battery one sounds like it might be what I'm supposed to do.
So do you have the metal object or the stone one? I am not sure which way round this is but the one of them is in the emblem room and the other is further on. Do you have the battery yet? If you do place the battery in the broken lift in the courtyard, refill the swimming pool with the crank and then go down the lift you have just porvided power for. Now there will be no water fall revealing a passage for you to go through making a whole new area. I hope this helps, if not just ask me again!
Resi rocks, I always thought Resi games where pretty cack until I got hold of this little beauty. Been playing it a hell of a lot recently, first time the Zombie opened a door I nearly shat myself.
I'm kinda stuck i've just killed the Snake guy and i've got some Computer disk also i've just unlocked the room with family seal on it and got the seal thing from inside. Anyone wanna give me a clue what I have to do?

You should Aim for their heads, run away, re-enter, get a few head shots, un away, keep doing this until they die, then burn them! BURN!

I just got eaten by a giant shark on Normal dificulty. I am aiming for under 5 hours. Which is not bad for where I am in the time I have taken.
I kinda wish that i got something else rather than Resi evil
I still maintain that it is rubbish.
Resident evil is by far the greatest game on the gamecube so far! It even beats pikmin and thats an achievement to be proud of!
