The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.

You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

And no he doesn't get a flamethrower :(

I used the incidary and acid shells to kill the Tyrant with Jill, I guess I'll have to use the magnum with chris. I didn't actually get the magnum with Jill though so I don't know how good it is...

Yep, heres how you do it.

Okay this is long only because I can't explain it very well, it doens't actually take very long at all.


Go to the room on the east wing, second floor, with the fish tank in. To get there go through the door on the left opposite the staircase up, thats the staircase that starts in the room next to the one with the item box in. Anyway taht room is actually a very small one, with two other fairly small rooms coming of it from the right and the left, theres just a dear head on the wall and a green and red herb.

So go in the room on the left. On the wall next to the tank is a fishing hook, take it. In the same room is two collections of things on the wall. One is insect specimins, and the other one has fishing lures. Combine the fishing hook with the bee lure thing, now put that on the other collection of things, and the insect thingy you got there where the bee lure was. Press the switch on the collection where the bee lure came from, take the wind crest.


Now you know the area outside, the graveyard area with crows in? It's on the same 'path' as the two windcocks and on the way to Lisa's cabin. There are two big graves in the middle, put the wind crest in the grave on the right, then you will get three other symbols, put them in the correct order on the grave on the left and you will get the magnum.

D'oh he gets a flamethrower though doesn't he?

Any ideas how you can get the magnum with Jill other than letting Barry get killed by that ugly child thing?

You need to drain the water from the waterfall in the area that leads to the crazy flower thing. To do this get the battery and the crank that you originally used to drain the water from the pool, go to the area with the water fall and put the battery in the slot for the other lift that's out of order. Use the lift then go up and use the crank in the slot that you used before. The water will fill up and it should tell you that you can't hear a waterfall anymore, use the new lift again and there's a new area opened up behind the waterfall.

Hope this helps, it's a bit hard to explain exactly what to do.

I have been playing resident evil for the past two weeks on and off. I have gotten really far but now Im stuck at the first floor of the mansion. Behind the stairs theres a door that you have to put two pentagon shaped engravings into. But one engraving doesnt have an outer surroundin of stone to make it fit properly. Ive gone every where, all my enemys are dead, I've killed the crazy flower thing and all that. Im stumped, any help?

Let me clear this up. First has anyone read/heard/seen both Wesker's Reports? It explains all in there. When Wesker adn Birkin arrived at the mansion in 1967 Lisa was already a freak from all the experiments. Later on they put the Nemesis virus into her and instead of changing her into a nemesis she simply took over the virus and killed it. So the nemesis is not Lisa Trevor. Sorry.

And the nemesis isn't the guy from the film either, because the films are not related to the games in any way apart from name. The second film is going to be called "Resident Evil 2: Nemesis".....I can't even begin to say what's wrong with that title.

The nemesis is nobody special, just a person they put a virus into. It may turn out later in the series that the nemesis was somebody important, but at the moment we don't know.

Yeah is is truly funny. On Resident Evil Nemesis I was being chased by the Nemesis himself and he ran intto a zombie and hit its head off. Also later on he was chasing e and he ran into a Spider and it stopped him. I got to kill him thanks to that Spider!
