Yes I picked it up today and played on it as soon as i could!

My first impressions are overall very good!


The graphics are amazing and excatly like the pictures show (although I need an RBG cable to make it perfect!

The controls are slightly difficult as the reviews have said and how the camera works can be frustrating!

I've got into the game but I can see there being quite alot to do yet!


So I think that you lot are definatly in for a treat tomorrow when you get it!

Normal, easy and hard? On my game there are only two difficulties, represented by the mountain climbing/hiking option. I chose the hard one.

I've found I'm having ammo problem but no lack of health items. Currently in my item chest I have three first aid sprays and four or five herbs. I also know where there are about four more herbs lying around, plus one or two red ones. Then I have about 6 shotgun shells and that's all my ammo.

I was dead annoyed that Rebecca doesn't warn you when the medicine is gonna run out...after a few times I thought it would be endless, but she wouldn't be there for long, so like an idiot I asked her to cure me when I was on yellow caution, just so I could save with full health. Then she says "Oh well. It's all gone now. Ha. Ha."

Also a really annoying thing is when you stand over a dead zombie, just about to use the kerosene, when the damn thing gets up and starts chasing you.

I know! I found normal mode too hard, so I restarted on easy and there were herbs everywhere, I had around 16 when I completed so now I think I can tackle a harder difficulty...

I can't get enough of this game, I played it while last night an I'm amazed to see all of the familiar environments and enemies from the origanal, thrown together with lots of new areas to explore and puzzles to complete.

I wish all the Resi games where being remade to this standard instead of just being re-released, but I suppose that would take ages to do fully. Oh well, I'll have to wait for resi 0 and 4, which I'm now looking forward to more now than before I played this game.

I'm going through the game as Jill now, having completed it with Chris in easy mode (*Doh, too easy) I'm going for hard instead.

Resident Evil Rules! Now you know that. I just done the bit where you kill the snake in the library but i wasted all my ammo. Does anyone have any hints to kill the snake with as little ammo as possible?

I completed it as Jill and got some bonus costumes.
By the way you have to reach Richard in about 3-4 mins or he dies, so use the map often.

O.o Ahhh.

I found Richard, ran straight back through hordes of zombies and crimson heads, grabbed the serum, ran all the way back, and he was already dead! _-_; aaarrrgghhhh

Now I have to reload *_*

Up to the snake on my save game, with only 1 death mask to get. Did play past that all the way up to the guard house and spiders, but didnt save it.

Well i'm getting even further now, nearly ready to face Plant 42 but I found this door that has a code so I'm going to find out about it!
