But if they have, what good will that do? The only decent Rare game that, if these rumours are true, will be developed for X-Box is a sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day (and I'm not even sure about THAT) as Nintendo own the rights or at least some of them to the characters in most of Rare's games. Plus, Nintendo own 49% in Rare, so they'll either have to sell out (which they are refusing to do) or take a huge stake in all profits.
It's most likely Rare will go multi-format, with some games that are GameCube exclusive. Another possibility is that nothing will happen at all. I really doubt Rare will go to MS.

Bah, I'm going to wait for the OFFICIAL news (annouced at X02 most likely) before anyone jumps to conclusions. Its very likely anyway that MS have brought Rare.
The only reliable thing I've read is Tiltawhirl's comment. IGN are VERY unreliable, trust me.
Or Nintendo might've sold out and not confirmed it.

The DID put their reputation on the line, so they were obviously convinced by the speculation, but Nintendo's/Microsoft's/Rare's official word will seal it.

Oooooo, the plot thickens. I'm guessing if theres anything to come out of this, it will be announced at X02 in a couple of weeks. If nothing is said at the event, I think everyone can safely assume it was just another empty speculation.
